Every year, we honor the ultimate display of golf resilience, chaos, and pure drama.

During our previous campaign at Lonnie Poole, Kevin Dyson put together a three-hole stretch that defies the laws of physics and sports psychology. He opened the stretch with a soul-crushing 8 on a par 5, immediately responded by piping a legendary Hole-in-One, and then—refusing to let fame get to his head—anchored the run with another spectacular 8.

Thus, the legend of "Mr. 818" was born.

🏆 The Kevin Dyson "818" Memorial Award

In honor of Kevin’s historic run, this award is unofficially up for grabs this weekend. It is dedicated to the player who displays the most violent swing in momentum—someone who can look like a tour pro on one hole, and an absolute hazard to society on the next.

Note: If you manage to card an 8-1-8 this weekend, your drinks at the 19th hole are free. If you card an 8-something-8 without the hole-in-one, you just had a rough day. Keep grinding.
